WLC has two computer facilities to support WLC courses and student work in the WLC-South Building.

The Apple lab in WLC-South (Building 48), Room 107, has 25 iMac computers, with with headsets at each station. Additional chairs are available should an instructor want to double up users at each station, to a maximum of 40 users. Software titles are in line with the main campus 'Lab Loadset', including the Office 2011 Suite, Adobe CS6 Master Collection, iLife 11, Audacity, Painter, Anime Studio Debut, Comic Life and other titles at IT's Software Locator for this lab.
A projector and speakers are connected to the instructor station for playing from the computer, or a laptop/VGA/HDMI device. DVDs can not be played back through the computer; there is a networked 65" flat screen display (Vizio D650I-C3 "Smart TV" LED - 1080p) is installed opposite the projector screen to minimize poor viewing angles. Be sure to talk to staff in 48/119 about checking out a DVD player before class if you plan to use DVD media.
Using Projectors or Flatscreen Monitor in Apple Lab:
Turn on the projector before logging into the instructor computer.
If you wish to switch inputs on the HDMI selector, note that it takes a moment for the switcher to connect to the new device.
The PC lab in WLC-South (Building 48), Room 118, has 33 HP Elite 8300 Touchscreen-enabled stations, (Intel Dual Core 2.2 GHz Processors, running Windows 7, DVD-ROM and CD-R/W), with headsets at every station. This lab runs Sanako Lab 300, as a level 3 language lab, with a full duplex, interactive audio and video system layered on top of the 'normal' computer lab.
Software is coordinated with the standard campus Windows Lab Loadset, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites, Audacity, etc. For details, see IT's Software Locator for this lab. A projector and speakers are connected to the instructor station for playing from the computer, a laptop/VGA device, or VCR. DVDs can be played back through the computer.
Printing for users is available to a shared, duplex-enabled HP 4015n printer located in the West Wing lobby.
When you come to the lab, login to the instructor computer. Then launch Sanako Lab 300 (icon on desktop or in Sanako folder under Programs)
The app takes a moment to check connections, and then the licensing window will close.
In the top left-ish corner of the application window, there's a speaker icon for Room Sound. Click that to enable the wall mounted speakers.
Confirm in the right column that the Media File is selected for the source.
Here are steps to set up and record student responses using Sanako Lab300
