Distance Education Students
The staff of the Personal Growth and Counseling Center make every attempt to provide services to our Distance Education students, up to the limits of the law and professional ethics. As a Distance Education student, you may be interested in accessing our online screening tools:
We may also be able to make referrals to appropriate mental health providers in your area, within our limits of knowledge. Please call our office at (831) 582-3969 for more information.
Due to legal and ethical issues, we do not provide the following services to any CSUMB student:
- Internet, e-mail, or other electronically-based counseling or therapy
- Internet, e-mail, or other electronically-based mental health information
In addition, due to varying state laws, students who reside outside of the state of California may find that we are unable, by law, to provide counseling or therapy services of any kind.
