Campus Planning
Campus Planning initiates and develops projects, plans and studies needed to create the physical space required to implement CSUMB’s academic mission. Staff regularly collaborate with campus and community stakeholders in order to redevelop the campus and the former Fort Ord into a vibrant and thriving community. Fundamental to our work is the integration of the three tenets of sustainability, identified by the campus as they relate to physical space as: placemaking, stewardship and partnership.

- Sustainable development - LEED/Living Community Challenge/Second Nature Climate Commitment
- Project concept development, management and review
- Transportation planning and program development
- Former Fort Ord redevelopment planning

- Stormwater planning and compliance
- Land use planning
- Property database management
- Coordination with public agencies (MST, TAMC, FORA, local jurisdictions and AMBAG)
