Cal State Apply
November 2017: SIS worked with Admissions, the Chancellor's Office and Graduate Departments on campus to replace CSU Mentor with CalState Apply. This was a CO mandated project for all CSUs. It was a painstaking effort and required hours of set up, testing, and coordinating among various departments and units. Although many challenges were experienced by our applicants, the whole CSU experienced the same issues. The CO is working diligently with the new software vendor to correct and improve CalState apply for a much more improved application experience for future terms. In addition to setting up the main admissions application, many of the departments worked tirelessly to transition their Supplemental Major Admissions Applications from a legacy system to CalState Apply. This was truly a major collaborative effort and overall, the project was completed as well as expected. Thank you to the many included in the project team.
