Outside Scholarship Award Procedures

Outside scholarships are private sources of scholarships offered from outside organizations. If you are receiving an outside scholarship, you are required to notify the Financial Aid Office of your award. We are required to include those awards with your other financial aid award(s).

Students who receive scholarships from outside organizations should have their funds sent directly to the Financial Aid Office at the following address:

Financial Aid Office (SSB, 3rd Fl.)

Upon receiving the scholarship funds, CSUMB will cashier the check and apply the funds directly to the student's account based on the donor's instructions
