- October, 2017 - discussions with Canvas and CSU CO on pilot timeline; initial call for faculty participants through STC
- December, 2017 - Canvas shell created and faculty participation selected
- January, 2018 - SSO enabled; branding completed; backend tasks completed
- January, 2018 - Canvas Help Chat and Phone enabled; Canvas mobile app pushed
- February, 2018 - First student perception survey; first pilot faculty meeting
- March, 2018 - Midterm student perception survey; midterm pilot faculty meeting
- April, 2018 - Final student perception survey; final review to STC and CIO
- May, 2018 - Expanded pilot decision in conjunction with Moodle 3.4 upgrade
