Eligibility: Eligible applicants for Hertz Fellowships must be students of the applied physical, biological and engineering sciences who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America, and who are willing to morally commit to make their skills available to the United States in time of national emergency. College seniors wishing to pursue the Ph.D. degree in any of the fields of particular interest to the Foundation, as well as graduate students already in the process of doing so, may apply. The Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship Program is the only national scholarship program targeted at Hispanic students who are committed to careers in healthcare - medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, health management and policy analysis, health research, and allied health. Applicants must be enrolled full-time and seeking a professional degree at medical,
dental, nursing, public health, or policy schools located in California for the California Gala Event; in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut for the NYC Gala Event. Applicants are not required to be Hispanic; an affinity for the health of Hispanic communities and an interest in participating in NHHF Scholars Alumni activities is needed.

The Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship is a special opportunity for up to four U.S. students to pursue projects around an aspect of international contemporary or popular music as a cultural force for expression. Eligibility requirements:
U.S. citizenship at the time of application. Permanent residents are not eligible.
B.A. degree or the equivalent conferred before the start of the grant.
In the creative and performing arts, four years of professional training and/or experience meets the basic eligibility requirement.
Good health. Grantees will be required to submit a satisfactory Medical Certificate from a physician.
Proficiency in the written and spoken language of the host country sufficient to communicate with the people and to carry out the proposed study. This is especially important for projects in the social sciences and the humanities.
Candidates who have undertaken their higher education primarily at educational institutions in the U.S. Undergraduate study abroad will not be considered a disadvantage.
Candidates who have not resided or studied in the country to which they are applying for more than six months, not counting undergraduate study abroad. Duty abroad in the Armed Forces of the United States is not considered disqualifying within the meaning of this section.
For most programs, applicants who have had extensive previous foreign experience in the host country are at a competitive disadvantage, but are still eligible to apply.

The mission of CHCI Scholarship Program is to provide critical financial assistance that will increase graduation rates among Latino students in post-secondary education. CHCI's scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the United States who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue their civic engagement in the future. There is no GPA or academic major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.

Each scholarship award is divided over the number of years required for graduation (for example, a $2,500 scholarship for a college freshman will be distributed in four equal installments of $625 a year).

The ASIST Scholarship Program helps provide financial support to adult students in a variety of transitional situations. The goal of the ASIST Program is to enable recipients to improve their self-esteem and to have a positive impact on the recipient’s personal life, employment, family, and community. In addition to the Chapter ASIST awards, there are twelve Corporate awards of $2,500 (payable in USD) given annually. Corporate candidates are selected from Chapter winners. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: Clearly define career goals and objectives; Specify the educational requirements to attain the above goals and objectives; Utilize re-entry programs available through colleges/universities, community agencies and service groups or career professionals; be 18 years of age or older; and applicant must be residing in boundaries of the EWI Chapter to which application is submitted.

Tailored for students in the field of Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and/or an Emphasis in Cultural Studies, Environmental Studies, or Social Justice. Applicants must:
Be of Central American or other Latino ethnicity.
Demonstrate financial need.
Possess a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate a history of community involvement.
Be either: (1) graduating high school seniors, (2) current undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, (3) community college students (must be AB 540). Low-income students must reside and study in San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles Area (Specifically South Central Los Angeles, Pico Union, East Los Angeles) and San Fernando Valley.
Be willing to give back to the community by becoming a mentor to a high school student or completing the equivalent of 52 community service hours assigned by SALEF.

Full-time graduate or undergraduate students, high school seniors enrolled in full time study at a college/university the upcoming fall session encouraged to apply. Minimum 3.0 GPA, commitment and involvement in the Latino community, and majoring in engineering, applied science, computer science and math.
Award: $500 - $5,000 – various scholarships available.

U.S. citizens or legal residents, minimum 3.0 GPA, currently enrolled or planning to start a full-time undergraduate program at either a 2-year or 4-year college, university, vocational, or technical school. Anticipated course of study must be in the health field. Must demonstrate financial need. The ideal candidate is at a 2-year institution planning on completing a four-year degree, also plans on working in an underserved community.
Award: Up to $8,000.
