FIRST Living Learning Community

FIRST is a unique opportunity for incoming freshmen to pursue growth and engage in important topics during nine months of living together in a community of shared values and experiences. Students living in FIRST will all be first-generation college students in either the EOP, TRIO, or CAMP programs.

FIRST students will have access to exclusive resources, programs and activities, mentoring, and community involvement. The ultimate goal of FIRST is to contribute to students' successful CSUMB experience and connect FIRST students to campus.

Recruitment will begin after students have gained acceptance to CSUMB. Interested students should apply for TRIO SSS, and indicate their interest in FIRST on their Housing application.
