Approved Prerequisite Courses

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have completed course work in Human Biology, Statistics, & Computer Literacy.
  • Statistics must be completed within the last five years.
  • There is not a required time frame for when Human Biology and Computer Literacy are completed.
  • Applicants must possess computer literacy in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Applicants may submit a recent letter from a supervisor or instructor attesting to these skills or complete a course on basic computer applications.
  • Please note that applicants may apply and complete the prerequisite courses while their application is being evaluated however, all prerequisites must be completed and official transcripts submitted the month the Program begins.
  • Please see approved courses below. If an applicant has completed a course that is not listed and they believe the course meets the requirement, please send a copy of the course description, title, and college where completed to the MSW Admissions Coordinator at msw@csumb.edu.
