Has your instructor asked for someone in your class to become a notetaker?

Earn $75 just for taking notes in class!

Student Disability Resources (SDR) can show you how it's that easy!

PRIMARY DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attend class and take neat, organized, accurate notes for students with disabilities.
  • Meet deadlines and follow SDR service policies and procedures.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and prompt.
  • College level English vocabulary and language, with the exception of some entry-level courses freshman courses.
  • Must be enrolled at CSUMB with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • The notetaker cannot be authorized for notetaking services.

APPLY BY COMPLETING THE FOLLOWING:

1. Application to Provide Notes

Obtain this form by contacting us directly by email, phone or in person. Additionally, this form may be available through the instructor of the course or the client who has asked you to be a notetaker.

5. Unofficial Transcripts

6. Obtain Notetaker Training - Get certified online and print out a copy or email the certificate. You will need to create a login ID and password and plan to set aside 30-45 minutes to complete.

Once all forms are completed, please return to our office via email or in person for processing of the application and formal confirmation as a Notetaker.
