Biography

I grew up in sunny San Diego, California. I was fortunate enough in college to be able to study abroad in New Zealand. The stunning geology and unique species of New Zealand inspired me to continue traveling. I later spent a year teaching English and Science to children in Spain. While doing so, I was able travel around Europe, absorbing the cultures and beauty of each individual country. My joint love of art and science motivated me to join the science illustration program, with the intention of using illustration as a way to motivate people from around the world to find a passion for science and nature.
