Biography

Monica Jurik is an illustrator from California. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, she earned her certification for Science Illustration from California State University, Monterey Bay. Her internship at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL, consisted mainly of fossil reconstructions from the Silurian Reef.
