Biography

Melissa Snider is a illustrator and California native who is currently finishing up her studies in the CSU Monterey Bay Science Illustration program. She received her B.A. in studio art at the University of California, Davis where she also studied animal husbandry and French. Currently, she is interning at the New Zealand Marine Studies Centre in Dunedin, NZ until the end of 2014. Melissa enjoys working in gouache and watercolours with vegetables, insects and horses being among her favorite subjects.
