Biography

Glenda Lee Mahoney works as an Illustration Editor for Annual Reviews and as a freelance artist in Half Moon Bay, CA. She grew up on the coast in Santa Cruz, and has always been inspired by the ocean and its creatures. She has a B.S. in aquatic biology from UC Santa Barbara and a graduate certificate in scientific illustration from UC Santa Cruz. She has also interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and is a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. She currently accepts freelance design and illustration projects as well as commissions for fine art pieces.
