Instructor

This advanced elective course introduces content about client populations, social policy, and practice in the area of children, youth, and families. This course will emphasize the policies, programs, and services related to child welfare as well as evidence-informed interventions and skills for effective practice. Special topics include child development, parenting practices, legal and ethical mandated reporting, and culturally relevant services. Required for CalSWEC IV-E students.(Prereq: SW 540)
