Black Box Cabaret (BBC)
The Black Box Cabaret is a student managed programming space on campus. It is only open for scheduled meetings and events and closed at all other times. Student organizations receive scheduling priority of the space, as well as a credit each semester to help off-set their usage costs. Each year, student organizations host a variety of meetings and events in the BBC, which include but are not limited to: movie nights, comedians, spoken word artists, concerts, dances, guest speakers.
How to book the BBC:
For on-campus student clubs and organizations, please submit a request via Community. For students wishing to book the space as part of class project/capstone, please work through your academic major department (ex: HCOM, KIN, BUS) to book the space.
Campus departments, faculty or staff, please submit your request through 25Live. Entertainment (individuals or agencies) wishing to send info about artists, tour dates, etc. please email prog@otterstudentunion.org.
