  • Commencement 2019 By The Numbers

    California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) will hold its 23rd commencement ceremony on Friday May 17, and Saturday May 18, 2019 at Freeman Stadium. Commencement has expanded to three ceremonies over two days in order to accommodate the largest graduating class in CSUMB’s history.

  • 10th Annual Startup Challenge Monterey Bay Competition Finals

    SEASIDE, Calif., May 9, 2019 – The final round of the 10th annual Startup Challenge Monterey Bay will take place Friday, May 10, 2019 from 2-7:30 p.m at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Seaside. The remaining 27 teams will pitch their business ideas to a panel of regional business experts in the “Otter Tank,” competing for over $60,000 in cash and prizes.

The keynote event, taking place Wednesday, April 17 at CSUMB’s World Theater will feature internationally-acclaimed Iranian film director Rakhshan Banietemad.
