As part of their culminating experience in the CHHS Program, students showcase their field-based projects and contributions to their community in the Capstone Festival presented at the end of each semester.
CHHS graduate (May 2017) Melissa Trevino shares her experience with being a non-traditional student who found success and inspiration with the support of the TRIO/SSS program at CSUMB. Melissa will be starting her MSW program in Fall 2017.
CHHS student Angelica Victoria shares her inspiring experience of being selected to participate in the HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities) Conference in Costa Rica.
Daisy Leon Melendrez, a CHHS major and CSUMB service learning student leader, has been selected as a Principal Community Scholar for her community project to provide information to immigrant communities about their constitutional rights.
