The CHC provides private, personalized care for women with an emphasis on prevention and self-responsibility that include contraceptive education, complete examination (no charge), PAP (no charge), colposcopy, and other lab tests (at no charge or discounted rates depending upon the test), as well as health counseling. Please refrain from sexual activity at least 72-hours prior to your PAP to ensure test accuracy.
Additionally, our clinicians provide care for sexually transmitted disease (STD), immunizations, testing for some contagious diseases, tuberculosis (TB) testing, confidential HIV testing, and health-related travel services. Condoms are always available at no charge. Please call 831-582-3965 to schedule an appointment or to get more information.
PLEASE allow us at least a 48-HOURS notice for birth control or other refills for prescriptions originally filled at this clinic. You may call 831-582-3966 and leave a message for your refills. Remember to clearly state your name, phone number, and Rx information. Unfortunately, we are NOT a retail pharmacy so we are unable to sell over-the-counter medications or devices and can ONLY refill prescriptions that were originally prescribed at this clinic.
Please note that fees for service are due and payable at time of service. The CHC accepts cash, check, Money Order, Visa, Master card, Discover, American Express, and ATM/Debit cards. We can bill many PPO medical insurance carriers or provide you with a statement that you may submit to your carrier for reimbursement. Unfortunately, we are unable to bill HMOs.
Email is NOT a secure method of communication. PLEASE do NOT use email to discuss medical concerns or to transmit medical records.
Members of the campus community, including faculty, staff, and dependents of students may also access services at the Campus Health Center, but costs are not covered through the student health fee and are not eligible for the discounted student rate. The CHC offers a reasonable fee for all services, and accepts many PPO and other non-HMO insurance plans. Please confirm coverage with your provider prior to receiving services at the Campus Health Center.
