On behalf of myself and and the faculty and staff at California State University Monterey Bay College of Education, I’d like to congratulate each and every one of you on your great accomplishment!
We are so very proud of all that you have accomplished during your time at CSUMB, and we wish you the best as you begin this next phase in your life. Your academic contributions, your dedication, and your desire to continuously learn have been invaluable to the college, and we are grateful for the legacy that you are leaving behind.
As you begin your careers or continue your studies through post baccalaureate credential program, graduate or doctoral programs, we know that you will be well prepared to lead and continue to seek solutions to the challenges facing today’s society.
I would also like to give special thanks to the parents, abuelitos (grandparents), spouses, children, and friends of our graduates for their patience, understanding, sacrifices and support for our students. Thank you for your patience and support as your loved ones dedicated their time and energy to achieving an important milestone in their lives. It is not easy, yet, we can collectively take pride in knowing that many wonderful opportunities lie ahead.
Although you are graduating, you will always be a member of the Otter family. We encourage you to stay connected with our College of Education, join the CSUMB Alumni Association, and give back by supporting our College of Education programs and scholarships. The continued involvement of our alumni strengthens our College and the Otter community. I am confident that as you embark on your next adventure, the path you blaze will continue to make our College proud.
Congratulations again to the graduates of our undergraduate, credential, and graduate programs. The entire CSUMB College of Education Family is very proud of you.
Felicidades!
