Focuses on health topics as they relate to teaching and learning environments (preschool to adult). Identifies current issues and problems of individual, family, and community health concerns in the social and school context. Explores theories, organization, methods, and materials for the understanding and the teaching of health education. Fulfills the Ca health education requirement for the clear credential. The state CPR requirement is not part of this course.
