Mandatory orientation for ENVS 303L. This classroom component of California Transect prepares students for the summer field course (ENVS 303L) by introducing topics in California's scientific, cultural, and political history and current issues that will be examined in detail during the summer field course (ENVS 303L). May require one weekend field trip.[Prereq: (BIO 230 or BIO 211 or GEOL 260) and (Coreq: ENVS 303L)]
