    Note: (Coreq: Concurrent Enrollment in KIN 282L section 02); Course has corequisite(s).

    Certification course to increase understanding of diving. Includes classroom discussions, and participation and application of knowledge in open water. Covers applied sciences, environment, navigation, visibility, search and recovery, light salvage, deep simulated decompression and more. Requires a minimum of 8 field dives. Projects may be assigned outside of classroom time. Students who complete all of the course requirements are eligible for the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver certification. [(Prereq: KIN 280 and KIN 280L with a C- or better) or (Instructor Consent) and (Coreq: KIN 282L)]
