Through a series of hands-on project modules, students develop practical skills in electronics, microcontroller programming, and robotics sufficient to design and build simple, programmable robots, sensor/datalogger systems, or other electronic devices for collecting environmental measurements in terrestrial, freshwater, or marine ecosystems. Course fee may be required. [Prereq: (MATH 150) and (PHYS 121 or PHYS 150 or PHYS 220 or CST 231) with a C- or better]
