Applying the 13 MLOs of the CHHS major, students work individually with field mentors and the course instructor to implement and evaluate an applied research project that addresses a health or social problem in the community. In the second semester, students intervene and collect data to evaluate the impact of their projects in the community using appropriate evaluation designs. The final thesis report and presentation provide the project's findings and recommendations. (Offered every semester.)[(Prereq: CHHS 400A with a C- or better) and (Coreq: CHHS 496B)]
