Note: Students should expect to spend an additional 2 hours per week for offsite work in the community.
In a service learning context, students deepen communication skills, engage contemporary composition theories, and develop advanced written communication skills in a variety of genres. Students apply theories in area schools and literacy programs.[Prereq: (GE Areas A1 and A2 and A3 with a C- or better) and (Junior or Senior Standing)]
