Introduces scientific principles of modern geography. Features both the cultural and environmental aspects of geography at global, regional, and local levels. Teaches perspectives that go beyond a concern with "where things are," providing discussion and analysis of basic geographical theories and methods in the context of real world case studies. (Prereq: GE Areas A1 and A2 and A3 and B4 with a C- or better)
