Pre-acceptance Phase

Step 1: Research your options – 1 year in advance

Step 2: Attend Education Abroad 101 – 1 year in advance

Step 3: Research potential courses – 1 year in advance

Step 4: Talk to your Education Abroad Coordinator – 8 months in advance

Step 5: Get Academic Approval – 8 months in advance

Step 6: Complete pre-acceptance application - 6 months in advance

Post-acceptance Phase

Step 7: Apply to host university/program – Varies by program

Step 8: Complete post-acceptance phase – 3-2 months in advance

Step 9: Attend mandatory pre-departure orientation

Step 10: Travel to host university/program
