Bob has a 30 year career in various high technology markets most recently as President and CEO of Redflex Holding Limited, a listed and global business headquartered in Melbourne Australia and focused on road, vehicle, and pedestrian safety products and services. Following his departure as CEO, Bob continues to serve Redflex Holdings as an advisor to the Board of Directors and as a non-executive member of the Board or Directors.

Previously, Bob was President and CEO of LaserCard Corporation, a listed biometric identification systems business supporting government and commercial clients around the world. Bob was instrumental in leading the repositioning of the company’s solution portfolio, expanding the market presence of the business and dramatically improving operating profitability. The financial and strategic turnaround of the company led to a successful merger with HID Global/ASSA ABLOY.

In addition to public company leadership, Bob has also served in senior functional roles in large-cap public companies most recently as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development of Solectron Inc., where he was the architect of the successful merger of Solectron and Flextronics which created a $34B global manufacturing services competitor.

Bob has also led venture-backed start-up companies as CEO of Inkra Networks, a developer of virtualized Network Security Products and CEO of Ignis Optics, a producer of high speed fiber-optic subsystems.

During his general management career, Bob has taken on complex situations and delivered positive operating improvements and favorable exits in a variety of technology market segments. Uniquely, these improvements have been realized in both large and small company environments and in favor of both private and public investors.

Bob’s earlier career accomplishments were concentrated in sales and marketing management functions in the communications, networking and software market segments.

Bob received a Master of Arts degree from Gonzaga University in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, San Luis Obispo.

Bob and his wife moved back to the central coast 15 years ago and enjoy the coastal lifestyle in Aptos.
