Lanier Sammons is a composer, recordist, and educator. Lanier’s musical interests include audience interactivity, improvisation, the intersection of popular and classical musics, film and game scores, and the pairing of electronic and acoustic sound. As a composer, his works have been featured at SEAMUS, the Spark Festival, the Jubilus Festival, the San Francisco International Art Festival, and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. As a recordist, he focuses primarily on contemporary classical and experimental music. He has produced or engineered artists including Giacomo Fiore, the Post-Haste Reed Duo, and Larry Polansky.
