Laurel Recker

Laurel Recker joined CSUMB in the fall of 2018. She is a Faculty Lecturer teaching a range of courses in Humanities and Communication, Communication Across the Disciplines, and Global Studies. Prior, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Global and Intercultural Studies at Miami University, and she earned her doctorate from the Department of English at the University of California, Davis (where she also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Lecturer). Her research examines modernist arts and literatures; in particular, she investigates how modernist forms reorganize models of time and memory.
