My training is in Cognitive Psychology: face perception and false memory. My research focuses on the other-race effect, which when a person performs worse when recognizing or discriminating between faces from a different ethnicity. This research applies to how we process faces and what factors influence it.
The other area of research I study examines the false memory paradigm. I investigate how we create false memory for semantically related words and how it may be influenced by collaboration. My interests are in eyewitness testimony.
