Income Tax-Accounting
Jeffrey Froshman is a "Distinguished Lecturer" at the CSUMB College of Business since January 1996. The University awarded him this title acknowledging his contribution to the students and the school. Jeff currently teaches Income Tax and Intermediate Accounting.
Jeff is a co-founder and past chairperson on the College of Business Dean's Advisory Council, where he still sits as a member. He is also a "Business Partner" which means he has also made financial donations to the College.
Jeff, a former IRS agent, has an MBA in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Santa Clara. A retired CPA, Jeff is still a practicing Certified Financial Planner. Hobbies include golf, Latin dancing and global travel. He has visited every continent except Antartica. He currently lives in Santa Cruz with his wife, Merle, a retired school librarian. They have one daughter, Kendra, who graduated from UC Berkeley and received her Masters degree from San Francisco State University.
