Greg received his M.A. from Prescott College in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Conservation Biology. His research interests are the preservation of island ecosystems, the evolution of island birds and the wilderness experience.
Greg Meyer has been a professional naturalist, adventure sports guide and wilderness leader since 1985. He has led backpacking, kayaking, mountaineering and natural history expeditions on five continents from Alaska to Antarctica and operates his own company, Great Expeditions. He has taught in the CSUMB Outdoor Education program since 1997, leading students on adventures all over the state
