Biography

Teaching Areas:

Rhetoric and Communication, Literary Studies, and American Indian Studies.

Research Interests:

Pedagogy, Rhetoric and Composition, American Indian Rhetorics and Literatures, American Literature.

University and Community Interests:

Teacher education and faculty development for K-12 educators, English Communication curriculum, faculty development in the teaching and learning of written communication, and effective and ethical communication for leadership.

Recent Publications

Dr. Stromberg's publications include American Indian Rhetorics of Survivance: Word Medicine, Word Magic (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2006), book chapters, and articles in journals including MELUS, Studies in American Indian Literatures, and Studies in Popular Culture.
