
Dina Olave Wirick is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in medical settings, clinics and college counseling centers. She has specialized training in the treatment of adults with various concerns including Anxiety disorders, Post-traumatic Stress disorder, ADHD and coping with medical issues. She works from an evidenced based perspective and integrates treatment strategies individualized to each client. Dr. Dina Wirick takes care to assess for cultural factors that may impact diagnosis and treatment.
She teaches PSY 321 Clinical Psychology and PSY 305 Testing and Measurement. In both of these courses, theory and research in the field of clinical psychology and psychometrics are presented in a way that allows for student critique, inquiry, and application. Ethical practices and discussion of how cultural differences impact practice and application are interwoven throughout.
