Biography

Born, Columbus Ohio, 1940

Attended Heyl Ave Elementary, Barrett Junior High School, Columbus South High School, Ohio State University

Served 30 Years in the Army as an Ordnance Officer (1963-1993). Major areas were logistics, missiles, special weapons, tank-automotive repair.

Concluded military career as Commandant, Defense Language Institute, Monterey CA

Served 16 years in Germany, one year in Vietnam. US assignments included Pentagon/Arlington VA, Maryland, Alabama, Ohio, California, Colorado

After retirment from the military, worked 10 years for the University of New Mexico as Executive Director, Albuquerque Teach and Learn Network (Cable Access Channel), University Project Manager Hispanic Educational Telecommunications System, University Project Manager New Mexcio Network for Rural Education, University Project Manager Star Schools' Navajo Educational Technology Consortium.

After retirement from the University of New Mexico served seven years as Provost, Defense Language Institute, Monterey CA

Am a widower, have one son who teaches in Albuquerque New Mexico.
