SL 300S: Service Learning Pedagogy

Course description

This course prepares students to design and lead service learning experiences. Students will explore experiential education and community-based learning; theories pertinent to service, social justice, and service learning; and critical reflection and dialogue facilitation. Students simultaneously engage in a practical experience in the community, which strengthens their capacity to be reflective practitioners. (Prereq: Junior or Senior Standing)
