MPA 346: Free Improvisation Ensemble

Course description

Rehearsal and public performance of free and structured transidiomatic group improvisations with focus on student composition and the existing game piece and instruction score repertoire. Students perform, compose, and critique works and improvisations in weekly workshop rehearsals, in preparation for public performance. Any student with the ability to make sound can join the ensemble, and neither audition nor prior musical training is required.
