HCOM 432S: Social Action Writing

Course description

Intermediate level creative writing course in which students apply craft to a particular public issue. Students do collaborative research and interviews in the community. They produce poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, and visual representations of their writings. End-of-semester project is used to educate the community. [Prereq: (Junior or Senior Standing) and (GE Area A1 and A2 and A3) and (HCOM 330 or HCOM 339S) with a C- or better]
