CART 375: Cinematography

Course description

Students will explore the expressive possibilities of moving pictures, through aesthetic and formal investigations of lenses, shot duration, screen direction, camera movement and lighting. Students develop the skills required of a professional camera and lighting crew, with particular attention to the role of director of photography. (Prereq: CART 200)
